America’s 200 Best Small Companies, Forbes Magazine — October 29, 2001
National Dentex Corporation is extremely proud of being one of only twelve companies to be honored by Forbes for four consecutive years on their “200 Best Small Companies†list. To maintain their strict criteria in a weakening economy — a minimum 5% growth in sales and earnings over each of the last five years — the magazine had to raise the revenue limit of potential companies to be reviewed to $600 million from $350 million. This increased the number of eligible companies to over 20,000 and therefore the competition to make this most prestigious list. The final rankings are based on six equally weighted metrics: return on equity, sales and earnings per share growth, each of them measured during the past five years and for the most recent four quarters.
David Brown, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated: “This continued acknowledgment of National Dentex speaks highly of each and every one of our over 1,400 dedicated and talented employees, whose efforts day in and day out helped make this achievement possible. For each of our shareholders I wish to thank all of these employees, as well as Forbes for their continued recognition.â€
